This
months dinner will be held at Mimi's Cafe located at
2029 Alta Arden, Sacramento (west of howe Ave).
Menu choices are Meatloaf, Salmon blackened or
regular or Mediterranean Chicken Fettuccini for
$20.00 tax and tip included. All entrees include
salad and the the first two entrees include choice
of potatoes. Wine and beer are available and may be

6, Saturday, Christmas Party at the Areo Space
Museum
Annual Christmas Party
will be held at the Areo Space Musem; 3200 Freedom
Park Drive, McClellan, CA 95652. Cocktails at 6:00
pm Dinner :700 pm BYOB Cost $37.50 per
person. Menu will consist of Pear Walnut Salad with
fresh mixed greens, candied walnuts, pear slices and
blue cheese crumbles tossed in light poppyseed
vinaigrette. All Entree selections includes garlic
mashed potatoes, fresh vegetable medley and a roll
with butter. Selection choices: Slow Roasted Prime
Rib served with horseradish; Grilled Salmon finished
with lemon dill cream sauce or Vegetarian Pasta
Penne Pasta and fresh vegetables in a light garlic
cream sauce. Desert will be assorted Cookies and
Brownies. Regervations and Prepayment Reqired. The
deadline for Reservations is November 25, 2008.

8, Thursday SVR Planning Meeting
Annual planning meeting to set up 2009 events will
be held at Round Table Pizza; 9500 Greenback Lane
Orangevale/Folsom. All SVR members are welcome to
attend. Price $5.00 per person includes pizza and
soft drink. Salad, beer and wine sold separately.
